Pembongkaran Bangunan di Pantai Manakarra/Sulbarkita.com-Erisusanto

Mamuju, Sulbarkita.com - Manakarra beach bridge has now been renovated in the part that was highlighted because it resembles the symbol of Dajjal (illuminati). The building that resembles one eye was dismantled by the Public Works Department (PU) Mamuju since Thursday, October 11 2018.

From Sulbarkita.com's observation Friday, October 12, 2018, the part that began to be torn down was a 50 cm high wall of the pool. The pool is located in front of the Manakarra Beach landmark which is one of Mamuju's icons.

The pond as wide as the sepak takraw field was originally a place for people to capture images because of their unique appearance. The aesthetic invites attention because in the middle of the pool there is an outrigger boat monument that is a symbol of the ancestral might of the Sulbar people in the ocean.

But unfortunately, the charm of the pool disappeared after the image of the platform from nonprofit aircraft and google viral map on social media. Warganet said the pool resembled a single eye retina that resembled a demonic symbol.

The polemic was unavoidable after the Mamuju Regent, Habsi Wahid decided to hold Eid Al-Fitr prayers at Manakarra Beach last June. A number of residents had protested because of the existence of the building. "We will make a special budget to eliminate the image," Habsi said in response to the protest in his office, Thursday, June 7, 2018.

Now the heavy equipment in the form of excavators is at the location of the pond. Surrounding it were scattered boulders from the rest of the unfinished demolition. It is not clear what building will replace the pool, but Regent Habsi promised to build something more interesting.

"The design of the platform to appear more attractive and better, and more comfortable to use as a public open space," Habsi said in a press release. "The new design is temporarily designed to be implemented next year."

The community chose to keep their mouth shut when they were asked to respond to the dismantling of one of the icons on Manakarra Beach. Even so they are silent about the return of viral building that resembles the symbol of the Dajjal after the earthquake and tsunami disaster in Palu-Donggala, Central Sulawesi.
