According to Haryoto, Polman II B prison inmates consisted of 270 men and 16 women. "Of that amount, 30-40 percent are convicted in drug cases," he said.

The rest are convicted of murder, as well as sexual abuse. This prison problem is not only excess capacity. But also the number of employees. Haryoto explained, the ideal ratio is that one employee supervises two inmates. Whereas currently, the number of employees is only 77 people. This means that according to Haryoto, his side still lacks dozens of employees. Despite experiencing a number of overcapacity problems, the physical condition of the prison is still fairly good.

Even this prison has maximum security because it accommodates special status prisoners. In addition to the good security of the building, supporting facilities such as water and electricity also do not have problems. Even this prison has a number of interesting programs for inmates. In addition to religious activities, there are also arts and craft training events. "This is to get around the inmates in order not to be bored," said Haryanto.

Class II prison B Polman is one of three in West Sulawesi. Others are the Mamasa class III prison and the Mamuju Special Child Development Agency (LPKA). For the last prison, Haryoto said that he was in the building repair phase. The Mamasa prison was once a branch of the Polman Prison prison. But after a decision from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, its status changed to class III prison.
