Mamuju, Sulbarkita.com -- The General Election Commission (KPU) of West Sulawesi has established a forum called Boyang Manarang. A container which means that the smart home will be a place where people get knowledge about the election.
Chairperson of KPU Sulbar, Rustang said, Boyang Manarang or the Election Smart House (RPP) would be more optimized. For this reason, West Sulawesi KPU has also officially opened the Terrace of Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID).
"There are two things that must be considered by managers, the first is the Information Commission regulation number 1 of 2010 regarding public service standards and number 1 of 2017 concerning classification of public information," Rustang said in his remarks during the PPID Terrace soft launching event at the Sulbar KPU office, Jalan Sukarno Hatta, Karema Village, Mamuju District, Friday 1 November 2019.
In Boyang Manarang, said Rustang, a broadcasting radio had also been established which could be used by election participants or political parties to inform the people of West Sulawesi about Election.
"Moreover, we are facing the elections, if there are parties that want to convey things about the Election, this radio broadcast can be used as a mouthpiece for the election," Rustang said.
The former Chair of Panwaslu, Central Mamuju, hopes that Boyang Manarang can be used as a forum for public information disclosure to work. "Please, in the future, this can be put to good use," Rustang said.
The activity was attended by a number of high school students and students in Mamuju Regency, the Commissioner of West Sulawesi KPU and representatives of the West Sulawesi Ombudsman. The PPID Terrace soft launching program was marked by cutting the ribbon by the Chairperson of KPU Sulbar. After that, the event continued with a discussion on election regulations.
