TEMPO.CO, Jakarta -- The British Met Office weather service agency warned that tomorrow, March 15, 2019, there will be a large explosion of cosmic rays from the Sun to Earth. Solar Storm can paralyze GPS, cellphone signals and digital TV, as reported by the express page, Wednesday, March 13, 2019.
This phenomenon is the result of canyon-shaped holes in the upper atmosphere of the Sun. The long and narrow gap in the Sun's atmosphere, known as the coronal hole, releases a series of cosmic rays. Aerospace forecasting experts predict that solar storms will reach Earth.
The Space Weather web page states that the hole will form a canyon in the atmosphere of the Sun facing the Earth, and it spits out the flow of solar wind towards the Earth. A phenomenon also called the G1 minor geomagnetic storm is not dangerous.

For the most part, the Earth's magnetic field protects humans from radiation sequences, but solar storms can affect satellite-based technology. Wind The sun can heat the atmosphere outside the Earth, which causes it to expand.
This can also affect satellites in orbit, potentially causing a lack of GPS navigation, cellphone signals, and satellite TV. In addition, particle waves can cause high currents in the magnetosphere, which can cause higher currents than normal electricity in the power line, resulting in electrical transformers and power plants exploding and losing power.
Higher amounts of radiation also make people vulnerable to cancer. The Met Office has warned that the public will face a monumental storm in the future, which can destroy British technology and cost Britain almost £ 16 billion, equivalent to Rp. 304 trillion.
Britain is not prepared enough for a strong solar storm, the Met Office also warned the ministers. Weather forecasters believe that the UK does not have enough infrastructure to prepare for such an event.
"We found that in 100 years, without space weather forecasting capabilities, Britain could lose 15.9 billion pounds (IDR 302.1 trillion) of gross domestic product," said a researcher from the Met Office.
"With existing satellites, forecasting capabilities will decline in the coming years, so if there is no further investment, important infrastructure will become more vulnerable to space weather."
