TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Spokesman for the Indonesian Solidarity Party or PSI, Rian Ernest, said he was shocked at the Corruption Eradication Commission's arrest operation with PPP Chairperson Romahurmuziy or Romy PPP. He hopes the KPK will complete the case.
"PSI considers this a legal case and asks the KPK to work professionally to handle this case thoroughly," Rian said in a press release received by Tempo on Friday, March 15, 2019. Rian then said that this OTT shows that law enforcement and eradication of corruption are going well in Indonesia.
This case, said Rian, at the same time proves that the legal allegations that are 'selective cutting' in the era of president Joko Widodo or Jokowi have not been proven. "There is no legal protection carried out by Pak Jokowi to anyone who has legal problems," said Rian.

In addition, Rian said that the OTT case has shown that the speech of the Chairperson of the PSI, Grace Natalie, about the weakness of eradicating corruption in the political party is true.
Previously, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) carried out an arrest operation against a party chairman in East Java.
East Java Regional Police Head of Public Relations Senior Commissioner Frans Barung Mangera confirmed the existence of OTT in his area. "The information is correct, but asked the KPK," he said when contacted on Friday, March 15, 2019.
Information that is developing, OTT is carried out against the General Chair of the United Development Party (PPP) Romahurmuziy. Asked about the certainty, Frans Barung was reluctant to be frank. "While 1 with one person who is unknown," said Frans Barung.
