Rapid Test Ahead of the New Year, 20 Residents of Majene Reactive Covid-19

Majene, Sulbarkita.com - The Majene Covid-19 Handling Task Force Team conducted a mass rapid test of shop owners, café employees, and self-service employees on Tuesday night, December 29, 2020. Activities involving a joint TNI-Polri team and Satpol PP ahead of the new year succeeded in capturing 20 reactive citizens.

"From the results of screening with a rapid test on 126 samples in crowd places, 20 people were declared reactive. This means that in every crowd there are some people who are reactive, "said spokesman for the Majene Covid-19 Task Force Gugs, Sirajuddin, Tuesday, December 29, 2020.

The 20 people were directly handled by Puskesmas officers based on their respective areas of residence. They will undergo treatment and monitoring for 14 days. "Those who are reactive as much as possible are isolated independently in their respective homes, and if they have any symptoms we will continue with a swab," he said.

He appealed to all Majene people to adhere to health protocols, by wearing masks, maintaining a safe distance, and not carrying out activities that gather large crowds. Moreover, there is already a ban from the government not to have New Year's parties.
