"There was absolutely no seriousness to complete the construction, it should have been completed at the end of last year. But the fact is that only a few percent of the completion has exceeded the work limit as stipulated in the work contract," said the General Chairperson of SANDEK Sulbar Jakarta, Irwan Sipattongan, Tuesday 10 January 2023.
According to Irwan, the West Sulawesi Public Works Service (PU), which is technically responsible for the construction of the dormitory, must carry out an evaluation, including contractor partners, because the construction of the dormitory has crossed over to 2023. student dormitories," he said.
Irwan emphasized that if there is no action from the West Sulawesi Public Works Service, then his party will complain about this to the relevant institution, namely the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). "If the West Sulawesi Public Works Service is negligent, then we will forward this matter to the relevant institution, namely the Corruption Eradication Commission. Moreover, the KPK building is close, we will convoy with friends," he said.
Irwan hopes that the project will go well because the West Sulawesi student dormitory in Jakarta, apart from being a gathering place for students, is also very helpful in minimizing student finances during the college process. "We're sorry, including the parents who are paying for us, if the hostel is built haphazardly, not according to the stipulated schedule, what's happening now is that the dormitory is stalled," he said.
