He gave an example, a maximum open and face-to-face campaign may be attended by 40 percent of the capacity of the place or room. Candidates are also required to pocket recommendations from the Covid-19 task force or task force.
"Because the KPU cannot determine which areas have red, yellow or green status. The task force who has the competence determines whether a campaign can be open face to face or not," he said.
A total of 270 regions that will hold 2020 elections in all of Indonesia on December 9, 2020. Stages of the campaign will begin on September 26 to December 5, or as many as 71 days.
KPU divides the campaign period of the regional head candidate with three phases. The first phase is a limited meeting campaign, face-to-face meetings, dialogue, dissemination of campaign materials to the general installation of props and / or other activities.
Sulbar itself will hold the 2020 elections in three regions namely Mamuju, Majene, and Pasangkayu.
