Majene-Dept of Library and Filing (DPDK) Majene district held a library management training for librarians in 82 villages and sub-districts throughout the District. The training is to improve their ability to manage libraries in their respective areas.

The event that was held in the Hall of B 'Nusabillah, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Lembang Village of East Banggae Subdistrict, attended approximately 30 participants. Each participant is given an understanding of how to take care of a good book. Such as classifying books, coloring, and catalyzing books.

Form of cataloging that teaches in manuals, introductory books, publications, ISBN books, book books, manuals, physical description of books, caller book namber, and the number of books.

DPDK Head Majene Andi Pawiloi said librarians must understand library management and structure. In order for the role of the Majene government library, especially the village libraries and kelurahans, the more effective it is in increasing the reading interest of the community.

"Especially in early childhood, by utilizing the library as one place to get knowledge by reading," said Andi when opening the event Tuesday 2 January.
While Head of DPDK Majene Muh. Chaeran Samad explained, this activity also strengthens the understanding to the participants on the management and management of good library. "The creation of a professional, productive and proactive library," he said when contacted separately.
