Poto Competition Held to Promote the Mandar Museum in Majene

Majene, Sulbarkita.com -- Department of Culture and Tourism (Disbudpar) of Majene Regency will hold a museum photo contest at the Mandar Museum, Pangali Ali Village, Banggae District, Majene Regency, on Thursday, June 27, 2019.

The plan is for participants to be open to the public consisting of junior high school students (junior / equivalent), high school (high school / equivalent) and students and the community.

Head of Museum and Research Section, Disbudpar Majene, Rahma Kambol explained, the activity was one of the government's efforts in promoting the collection of heirlooms belonging to the Mandar Museum to the general public.

"From our observations, there are still many people who do not understand and do not even know about the Mandar Museum," he told Sulbarkita.com in his office on Friday, June 21, 2019.

Therefore, said Rahma, the photo competition, whose budget comes from the non-physical Special Allocation Fund (DAK) of the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia in 2019, was held at Meseum Mandar.
