Majene, Sulbarkita.com -- Commissioner of the General Election Commission (KPU) of Majene, Planning Division, Data and Information, Muhammad Subhan said, the budget of the Regional Head Election (Pilkada) of Majene 2020 is still lacking.

"If we calculate the deficit reaches 2.7 billion," Subhan told Sulbarkita.com, at the KPU office in Majene, Ahmad Yani Street, Passarang Neighborhood, Totoli Village, Sub-District, Banggae, Wednesday, October 16, 2019.

This happened because referring to the Ministry of Finance letter (Ministry of Finance) number S-735 / MK.02 / 2019 dated October 7, 2019 regarding the proposed standard fee for the Ad Hoc Pilkada 2020 body.

In the letter it was stated that there was a change in the standard fees for the Ad Hoc body from the Subdistrict Development Program (PPK) level to the Voter Organizer Group (KPPS).

The issuance of the letter will certainly affect the amount of the budget that was agreed upon earlier when the Regional Grant Agreement (NPHD) was signed for the 2020 Majene Regional Election on Tuesday, October 1, 2019.

The NPHD appendix still uses the old Ad hoc Agency Honorarium fee standards. Therefore, said Subhan, an alternative that can be done to cover the budget shortfall can be done with the NPHD addendum mechanism. "The method will certainly be discussed again with the Majene Government," he said.

So far, KPU Majene is waiting for an official letter from KPU RI related to the enforcement of the Ministry of Finance regulations. This need must be met if it has become a provision of the Ministry of Finance and has been implemented by the Indonesian KPU.

"We are still waiting for instructions from the Indonesian KPU regarding the enforcement of the letter from the Ministry of Finance," Subhan said.

Head of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) Majene, Kasman Kabil said, based on the results of an agreement between the two organizers of the General Election, his party agreed on a grant to the KPU Majene of Rp. 22.5 billion and Rp. 6.6 billion for the Supervisory Agency.

Majene Regency General Election (Bawaslu). The amount will be allocated in two years of budgeting, namely the 2019 Revised Regional Budget and Revised Budget. "Allocation for KPU, 1 Billion in 2019 and 21.5 Billion 2020. While for Bawaslu 350 Million this year, 6 "3 billion in 2020," Kasman said.

He explained that the Majene KPU had previously proposed a budget for holding an election of 25 billion, while the Election Supervisory Board proposed funds for supervision of 9.5 billion. Of the 25.6 billion proposed by the KPU, the TAPD verification team gave a proposal of Rp 20,849,716,250 billion, while the Bawaslu verified by the TAPD was Rp 6,365,918,361 billion.
