Majene, Sulbarkita.com -- The district level General Election Commission (KPU) will deal with violations of the law committed by the Adhoc organizers in the 2020 Regional Election. This is based on KPU Regulation (PKPU) No. 8 of 2019 article 101 concerning the work procedures of the Commission General election.
Responding to the decision, the Majene Regency KPU stressed that it would process Adhoc workers who violated the law in the upcoming local elections. "We will process it, even regarding the code of conduct, code of conduct, oath of promise and the fact of integrity. The Regency KPU will conduct a hearing process against the Adhoc body that commits violations, "said Commissioner of the Majene Regency KPU, Legal Division, Irjan Jaya during the 2019 Election Document Evaluation and Preparation meeting, in the Kitchen Mandar Restaurant Hall, Pamboang District, Thursday, December 26, 2019.
This violation of the Adhoc organizer was previously handled by the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu), after which it was processed in the General Election Organizer Honorary Board (DKPP). "But specifically for the 2020 elections, the system will be handled by the Regency KPU Internal," said Irjan.
However, the violation can also be reported to the Election Supervisory Body, but the case hearing will be conducted internally in the KPU. "The district KPU's legal division in the 2020 elections will purely deal with legal issues, so that ethical violations committed by Adhoc are no longer submitted to Bawaslu or DKPP," said Irjan.
Therefore, KPU Majene has formed a team to take action on violations committed by the Adhoc Agency. "Do not let the process of running the elections later, there are members of the Adhoc body who see or are seen violating, please report to the KPU Majene to be followed up," said Irjan.
