Majene, Sulbarkita.com - Regent of Majene Fahmi Massiara is grateful for the successful implementation of the Provincial Sports Week (Porprov) III of West Sulawesi. He also hopes that the sports party will be held again in Majene in the next four years.
"Of course we are still ready if we are reappointed as the host," Fahmi said when holding a press conference at the Majene Regent's House of Residence, Tuesday, November 20, 2018.
Porprov III West Sulawesi was the first experience Majene held a provincial-scale sports party. The show was considered quite successful not only because of its implementation, but Majene won the overall championship with the acquisition of 91 gold medals, 72 silver, 68 Bronze.
West Sulawesi's Porprov III which takes place in Majene November 12-19 2018 has been prepared since 2017. By arranging the master plan for the Sport Center in Rangas village, land acquisition, construction of a sports venue.
There are 10 new venues built and 5 others in heavy rehabilitation. Fahmi said Majene budgeted IDR 9.1 billion in 2017. Then 2018 IDR 6.3 billion. "As for the support of the West Sulawesi Provincial Government worth Rp. 12 billion."
Fahmi then promised to immediately distribute bonuses to outstanding athletes, even though the bonus would only be budgeted in 2019. However Fahmi could not confirm the amount of bonuses to be given. "Hopefully it can be realized, but we will provide it," he said.
Head of the Regional Finance and Asset Service Kasman Kabil gave a fairly large picture of the bonus budget from Porprov before. "Next year, the budget is clearly bigger," he revealed.
