THIS is the last year Risbar Berlian Bachri as a member of Commission II of the West Sulawesi Provincial House of Representatives (West Sulawesi DPRD). That is, the responsibility he carried for five years almost reached the end point. This 30-year-old man must prepare a new step in the future. Risbar plans to advance as an incumbent in the 2019 Election. He will fight in the Polman electoral district (Dapil) 1.

It is done because he feels called to continue the task as legislator of the West Sulawesi DPRD which he calls the spirit of restoration. Tuesday night, September 4, 2018, Risbar received Erisusanto from Sulbarkita.com at his residence at BTN Manakarra, Kelurahan of Binanga, Mamuju. Even though he was in an unhealthy condition, he took the time to interview us. Here's the quote.

Why are you back on the line?

This is because of heart calling, and the community also still wants me to take office. I feel there is still responsibility in the DPRD, one of which is the chair of the Regional Regulatory Formation Agency.

Then how is the preparation?

Incumbent is always in a further position in the move. We certainly have the popularity and experience of the beginners. But that can't make us arrogant. Because there are incumbents who lose the election because they are too confident. That's why I calculate my popularity is still zero.

What do you want to offer the people of West Sulawesi in the second period?

Actually a bit troublesome to answer. The DPR is a supervisory, legislation and budgeting institution. For the program, I think it is appropriate to ask the Regent or Governor. If it is my duty to supervise the executive, if something goes wrong we fix it. Moreover, the DPR has a recess program, which opens space for us to absorb the aspirations of the community.

We want to make sure that all government programs that are running are done well. But the point is, I will continue to give the best for the community.

What are the most pressing problems in West Sulawesi?

A lot, but the most important thing is infrastructure and education. For example, the development of economic lines, such as the Mamasa road to Mamuju. While the example aspect of education is scholarship assistance for those who are less well off.

What have you done for the West Sulawesi community while serving in the DPRD?

I built the beautiful Polewali High School 2 Hall, helped repair 25 uninhabitable housing units in my electoral district, and built an art studio "Pattae Mammesa" as a place for cultural expression.

I also gave goats and distributed funds for the construction of 200 houses of worship, as well as providing 50-100 plastic chairs per village to be used by residents in events such as aqiqah and marriage. What is your assessment of the

West Sulawesi youth who participated in the 2019 legislative elections?

Youth are usually more critical in forums. Especially if he is active in organizing mainly on campus, has strong references from reading books or online media, and is rich in information. But the most important thing is that he is trustworthy in carrying out his duties.

What must be prepared by the West Sulawesi youth in order to compete in the region and nationally Skill

or skill that is capable. Youth must be energetic and able to read opportunities and opportunities. They can get this through reading references.
