Majene, Sulbarkita.com - The Majene Police have tightened the security of the second round of Public Debate pairs of candidates for Regent and Deputy Regent of Majene in the Tammajarra Hall of the Education Quality Assurance Institute (LPMP) of West Sulawesi, Majene Mamuju KM 5, Rangas Village, Banggae District, Majene Regency, on Saturday, November 28, 2020. In tightening security, the implementation of health protocols and restrictions on the number of people attending the debate became the main focus.

Head of the Majene Police Operations Section AKP Ujang Saputra said as many as 130 Polri members were involved in this security activity. Plus personnel from the TNI, Satpol PP, and the Majene Transportation Service. Each of them has been placed in posts that are considered vulnerable.
"We do not want to be fooled by trivial things, let alone disturb the smooth and safe debates," said Ujang on the sidelines of security activities.
According to Ujang, every visitor must comply with health protocols. No exception, journalists who want to cover must use PPE such as masks, Face Shields, and gloves that have been prepared by the organizers at the location of the activity.
The second round of the Majene Pilkada debate raised four themes, namely solving regional problems, harmonizing the implementation of development between provincial and national districts, strengthening the Republic of Indonesia and nationality, and policies for handling the prevention and control of Covid-19.
KPU Chairman Muhammad Arsalin Aras held an important moment for public debate so that the public could carefully exercise their voting rights at the polling stations on December 9. "This debate is important as a socialization to disseminate ideas as a reference for people to make choices," said Arsalin.
