Jakarta, Sulbarkita.com -- The West Sulawesi (Sulbar) Provincial Government has prepared a direct flight route from Jakarta to Mamuju at Tampa Padang Airport. This aims to encourage economic progress for the people of West Sulawesi.
"With direct flights from Jakarta to Mamuju, we can leverage industrial sectors such as mining, textiles, etc.," said Acting. Governor of West Sulawesi, Prof. Zudan Arif Fakrulloh in his press release on the sidelines of his meeting with the Director General of Air Transportation of the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub), Wednesday, August 23 2023.
According to Prof. Zudan, to make this happen, his party has prepared a new terminal which can now be operated, while work on a number of buildings such as parking lots will soon be completed. "This can also encourage exports of agricultural products, this is an opportunity for cargo services," he said.
Head of the West Sulawesi Transportation Service, Maddareski Salatin, said that the Director General of Civil Aviation gave directions to carry out trials, this was to study and correct any deficiencies.
