Majene, Sulbarkita.com - The Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) in Majene Regency, West Sulawesi has again intensified mask raids in front of the Majene Regent's Office. Every citizen who passes without wearing a mask is immediately subject to sanctions such as community service, push-ups, to memorizing Pancasila.
"This operation is carried out almost every day like in front of the Regent's Office," said the Head of the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) of the Majene Regency, Zaenal Arifin on Monday, November 23, 2020.
In the operation since Monday, dozens of residents have been caught in the raid. Those who pass by using two-wheeled or four-wheeled vehicles mostly still obey the health protocol.
Zaenal said that this Satpol PP action was in accordance with Regent Regulation (Perbup) number 32 of 2020 concerning health protocol discipline. The goal is to discipline the public and reduce the number of spread of the Corona virus in Majene.
