Majene, Sulbarkita.com — A discussion meeting on patients who died because they were suspected of being late in the Regional Rayat Representative Council (DPRD), Majene riots. Deputy Chairman of Majene DPRD, Adi Ahsan slammed the table because he was upset with the request of the Chairman of DPRD Majene Salmawati so that the meeting was not covered by the media.
It all started when DPRD Speaker Majene Salmawati gave a speech. He said the case of the death of a patient in the Majene Regional General Hospital (RSUD) had become a hot topic in the community. "I hope the media comes out first because later there are things that cannot be published (spread) out," Salmawati said in the plenary room of the Majene Regional Parliament Office, Tuesday, January 28, 2020.
Salmawati's statement was immediately interrupted by Adi Ahsan and a number of Commission III members such as Rahmatullah. "Why does the media have to come out? I certainly hope that the media here will be equally ashamed (if the assumption is correct), "Rahmatullah said.

Salmawati then stated the results of the meeting would be delivered through a press conference. The politician from the United Development Party (PPP) argued that the meeting could not be open to the media because it involved the patient's illness. "When it comes to the problem of childhood illness, it must be known to the patient's family," he said in a high voice giving an explanation.
Meetings that start around 10.15 WIB begin to heat up. Ahsan did not accept Salmawati asalan. For him, the case of the death of a patient in Majene Regional Hospital was not merely a matter of illness, but related to hospital services. "It's not a matter of illness but it's service," Ahsan said in a high voice while hitting the table.
But Salmawati insisted on holding a closed meeting. He also received support from Muhammad Safaat, a PPP colleague who is also the chairman of commission III. "The results will be presented at a press conference."
Around 11:00 WITA, the condition was out of control because the two camps clashed with each other while pointing the direction of the interlocutor. In less than a few minutes, a "Brakkk ..." sounded in the middle of the noise. Seen Adi Ahsan slammed the table.
These conditions made security forces enter the room to control the situation. As for Salmawati, she immediately walked out because she could no longer control the meeting. His desire to suspend the meeting was also ignored by members of the DPRD Majene.
Also present at the meeting were the Head of the Majene Health Office (Dinkes) Dr. Rahmat Malik, Majene Hospital Director Dr. Yupi Handayani, the Head of BPJS Services Majene Kartini Malik, and the leaders of the Puskesmas in Majene.
The meeting discussed the death of Almaidah, 15, a resident of North Somba, Sendana Subdistrict, Majene after being referred to Majene Regional Hospital on Friday, January 24, 2020. Volunteers seeking Almaidah's treatment said that the Hospital was late in accommodating referrals submitted from the Sendana Puskesmas. So that Almaidah's life could not be saved.
