Polman, Sulbarkita.com -- The delay in depositing village fund accountability reports (LPJ) in Polman Regency resulted in 123 villages being threatened with sanctions in the form of cutting village funds by 30 percent.

The deduction of funds is carried out if the village does not include LPJ and the Remaining More Annual Budget Financing (Silpa) above 30 percent, then the village fund will be deducted as much as the value of Silpa.

"But Silpa is under 30 percent with no deductions," said Head of the Village Community Administration Office (PMD), Polman, Azwar Jasin Sauru when met in the Polman Regent office pattern room, Monday, May 27, 2019.

According to him, the delay in the LPJ of village funds occurred because the Village Heads often delayed their work in completing the village fund management report. "Of the 144 villages in Polman, only 21 LPJ villages were accepted. This happens because they procrastinate," said Azwar.

In addition, said Azwar, the village fund LPJ was deposited no later than last March. But the majority of the LPJs are awaited until the end of May have not yet been completed. "It could be a finding, if at the beginning of June the village fund LPJ had not yet entered, it could be that the village funds were cut," he said.

Azwar added that the unfinished LPJ had an effect on the delay of the salary of the village head and his officials. "Village officials who have not finished their LPJ are threatened not to pay on the Eid al-Fitr this year," he said.

He also said that this year his party would no longer provide a policy on recommendations for disbursing village funds to become lessons for village officials. "I do not give recommendations so that they become learning, because I have already sent them three times," said Azwar.

Confirmed separately, the Head of Pasiang Village, Matakali Sub-District, Nurjannah revealed that his party had deposited the LPJ village funds a few days ago. However, a petition for disbursing village funds has not been submitted.

"The plan is for my withdrawal application to be deposited after Lebaran, because there are 14 requirements that must be completed, one of which is a sub-district recommendation," he told Sulbarkita.com via telephone.
