Majene, Sulbarkita.com -- Prospective Deputy Regent of Majene, Sudarman AR, promised to build a Sandeq Boat Tourism site in Majene waters. That was a new idea that he would develop when he succeeded in leading Majene Regency in the 2020-2024 period.

Sandeq researcher as well as the originator of the Sandeq Race from Germany, Horst H. Liebner, called Sandeq as the fastest and strongest traditional boat ever in Austronesia. The boat drove away relying on the wind gusts captured by a triangle shaped sail. While the boat control called Guling, is located at the back of the boat made of wood with a length of about 1.5 meters and 40 centimeters wide.
It is this great symbol of the maritime people of the Mandar that makes Sudarman want to exploit this potential for income from Regional Original Income (PAD). "So Sandeq port will be built. In the harbor, a variety of traditional Mandar snacks or snacks are prepared, including marine sports facilities such as diving and snorkeling," he said.
As a Mandar and Marine Soldier, Sudarman is very familiar with the sea. The idea was born after he took off fatigue by driving Sandeq 2 days later. "Currently the Corona outbreak is rife. This virus is afraid of sea water, so sea travel is very appropriate at this time," he said.
