Polewali Mandar, Sulbarkita.com — Polewali Mandar Regency has a variety of tourism objects that are still guaranteed authenticity because many tourists have not touched it. One is the twin Laduang waterfall, which is located behind a hill in Erang Batu Hamlet, Batetangnga Village, Binuang District.
Twin waterfalls are called because in one location there are two streams of water that flow from the hills. The two streams of water are separated by cliffs as wide as five exotic material wrapped in moss and weeds.
The height of the Laduang twin waterfall is pretty decent, reaching 40 meters. So if we are under the shower, the mass of water will be felt when it hits the body. Plus the water from the hills is quite heavy. Certainly you will not stand too long there.
But don't worry, the water is forming a natural pool at the bottom of Laduang. So you can enjoy the freshness of the natural pool after the "guts test" under the waterfall shower. The natural pool is getting more and more exotic because it is in two steps. But be careful because the water is deep enough to reach 1 meter.
Unfortunately access to the Laduang twin waterfall has not been fully touched by development. After traveling about 45 minutes by four-wheeled vehicles from downtown Polewali, we have to walk about 20 minutes to the waterfall.
Understandably, two-wheeled vehicles were somewhat difficult to get inside. Because road conditions are still in the form of slippery and steep land. If not aware, we can slip into the hillsides. Luckily there are reeds and trees on either side of the road that can support balance.
But all the fatigue will disappear when it arrived at the Laduang twin waterfall. The scenery around the waterfall is very beautiful. Starting from the green trees to the rocks that seemed to be arranged quite nicely. So it is very suitable to be a collection on social media.
For residents of Erang Batu Hamlet, Laduang's twin waterfalls are not just tourist attractions. Once upon a time it was also a place to do the ritual of rejecting reinforcements because it is believed to have the tomb of To Salama aka the guardian of Islamic propagators there. "Reportedly the guardian from Arab who was the first to spread Islam in this village," said Burhan, 45, a local resident when met at his residence last Saturday, July 11.
Burhan hopes the government will pay serious attention to these attractions because they have the potential to become leading destinations. "Not far from there, there is also a two-tiered Kambelong waterfall, so you can enjoy two waterfall objects at once when you go there," said Burhan.
